Nine years ago, no one even knew we were getting married. We didn’t have a fancy venue, a big guest list, or a detailed plan. What we did have was love, faith, a few dollars in our pockets—and a dream to start our lives together.
It was actually raining that day, but somehow it felt sunnier than ever. We found a small wedding chapel, exchanged our vows, took a quick photo after the ceremony, and then caught the bus home as newlyweds. It was simple, sweet, and completely perfect for us.
That day taught me something I’ll never forget: a beautiful wedding doesn’t have to be big or expensive. It just needs love, intention, and a beautiful beginning—rain or shine.
